Crinoline flowers, Pt 2

Ok ladies, I decided not to use my first flower.  I couldn't get it to where I wanted to it be to make me happy.  So I made some more of them and colored them in differently.  One I used Goldrush ink andTulip ink to try to imitate the rose I saw the other day, then I made one with Pacifica ink, well, because I thought it would be cool, then I made one in Tulip alone and Tulip and Smokey Plum one.  I used some inexpensive paint brushes for the inking this time and it worked a lot better than the sponge daubers.  I put pearls into the center and sprayed them with glitter spray, although you can't see the sparkles in the photo.  I made them into a pin/button for me to wear.  I used the stamps that came in my kit to put the words on and used hot glue for everything else, then I embellished and TADA!!!  Here it is!!

I definitely need a better camera than my el cheapo one, but it is really pretty in person.  Thanks for looking!!!

  1. Very pretty!
As for the camera issue, I have the same problem. Try setting it to the Macro setting, it will give you a little bit of a sharper image.
Just wondering at what size you cut the flowers?
    Thanks so much for sharing.

    1. 5 inches for the 'brown' one (which is actually purple). 4 inches for the ones on the brooch. I also used the markers for the 4 inch ones and hand cut them so that I didn't dull another blade. I am thinking that maybe I should have used my deep cut blade instead, still experimenting. Thanks for the wonderful comments..
